Joseph Bourque brings more than 22 years of hands-on experience in information systems, information technologies, and operations to Immersion Health. As the Director of Information Technology, Mr. Bourque oversees the architecture and implementation of all operational and business support systems that the organization uses to operate and manage the business, as well as the security and technology advancements that will define Immersion Health as a leader in the healthcare market.
Joe spent almost 10 years in Pfizer Pharmaceuticals providing automated solutions to Research Informatics in new drug development and brings extensive experience and knowledge in the healthcare field.
Joe brings a diverse set of skills to Immersion Health along with business leadership roles. He has starting multiple companies to include a website hosting and development company providing custom websites, graphics and Linux hosting solutions to clients across the country, as well as dedicated outsourced IT.
He a Combat Marine and IT Engineer that served 8.5 years in the US Marine Corps which defined his leadership, attention to detail and dedication.
Mr. Bourque is actively involved in serving his community and in 2016 started a homeless outreach program providing clothing, food and services to men, women and children living on the streets of St. Louis Missouri, in which he serves every week regardless of the weather.
He is a father of 4 and now raising 4 foster children.
